G’day and Welcome to AustraUSA, Australians in Los Angeles and Orange County! Your home away from home. We organise social events in LA and Orange County to help connect anyone who is interested in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. (and the Commonwealth). We welcome anyone of any nationality. We all know what it’s like to be a new arrival in the USA, so we’re here to help you settle in. The fastest way to integrate into a new culture is to develop new friendships and networks.
We also have a strong contingent of American members who love Australia and our home countries as much as we love the USA, and they often help us with those “lost in translation” moments. They’ll help us perfect our American accents so we can be understood - yeah, you’ll learn how to say “water” in a US accent pretty quickly!! And we can help you find the things you miss the most, like Australian products, or British groceries, or just meeting a mate for a cuppa and a chin-wag !
So pop on your UGG boots, put your feet up and have a look around. We’ll see you at the next event and I’ll save a seat for you.

Whale watching last weekend and skiing this weekend! You have to love California! Meet us on the mountain @9:30am at the Top of the main chairlift (from the parking lot).
Some of us are skiing, others are boarding, and kids are coming too. All skill levels and ages welcome.
